What Happens when you Stop Holding Yourself Back

There is something frankly beautiful that happens in a place of fear.

Your heart accelerates, but you feel in suspension, almost stuck in time.

In these moments, you know that there are two choices ahead of you. One side of your mind tells you to shut down, forget about it and watch Netflix or do something distracting. The other side of your mind tells you that you can do this, that your potential is unlimited and that something magic awaits beyond the fear and beyond the doubts.

Your potential is unlimited.

So take a deep breath. Right now. Sit back, close your eyes and take a deep breath. Tell yourself that you are okay, that you are well and that your haven is right here.

Women, you are a wonderful creative miracle and you deserve to feel so. And I know that you might be scared right now. It is huge & scary to jump in cold water. I know that you have this vision for yourself. Tell me, what is that project that you keep within because you don’t know if you are ready yet?

That project so scary that you tell yourself you are not ready, not there yet, not perfect enough.

It’s true. You are not ready.

But it’s time to say: fuck it and stop holding yourself back

It’s time to claim your power back and manifest the most wonderful piece of creation you can put out there. Not the most wonderful you could ever release, but the most wonderful you can release today.

Today is all that you’ve got and you know, deep inside, that the fire is burning for you to get it out.

Don’t let your bubble of creativity die in oblivion. Love it, give it attention,  care for it and allow it to bloom and grow. Even if it’s just 10% of what you could potentially give. We all have potential, but we have to be patient and enjoy the ride. We have to sit back, take a deep breath, and release all that we’ve been holding back even if it’s not ready.

Let yourself shine in a wild and chaotic imperfect manner. Let yourself shine and inspire others with your kindness and your uniqueness. You have something to share and don’t take it away from the world to see.

When you are stuck in fear, here is what you can do:

To break the pattern, I encourage you to do the following exercises:

  • Try to note down every single idea that crosses your mind. Even the wildest and craziest. Don’t let your unique creative gift fall into nothingness.
  • Catch yourself when you are using self-destructive patterns such as I can’t do it, I am stuck, there is no way I can make it happen, I am not ready… And replace the though immediately by an empowering sentence such as I am in control, I am okay, It all unfolds in time, I trust my own journey.
  • Take one tiny scary step a day. Do one thing, daily, that challenges you and isn’t in the easy spectrum of your creativity.
